A visit from the Senator of Hamburg
GALAB had the honour of welcoming Hamburg’s Senator for Economics and Innovation, Dr. Melanie Leonhard, together with Cornelia Schmidt-Hoffmann, District Director of Bergedorf. They were welcomed at the entrance to our laboratory by our CEO, Eckard Jantzen, and Ulf-Peter Busse, editor-in-chief of the Bergedorfer Zeitung.
During the visit, Mr. Jantzen guided the guests through our laboratories, offering insights into the work of various departments and showcasing our commitment to scientific excellence and innovation in laboratory analysis.
The visit concluded with a discussion in our meeting room, where Dr. Leonhard and Ms. Schmidt-Hoffmann explored key industry topics, including the future of laboratory analysis and concerns over PFAS contamination in food products. Mr. Jantzen provided detailed perspectives on GALAB’s efforts to address these challenges, reinforcing our dedication to advancing analytical solutions and ensuring consumer safety.
