The product portfolio ranges from the analysis of food, food packaging, sanitary products, industrial products, and biopharmaceutical products to environmental analysis of substances and contaminants. With over 30 years in the market, performing over 1,000,000 analyses annually, and utilizing over 1,000 different analysis methods, GALAB is one of the largest service laboratories for quality control in Europe.

We are currently looking for a
Chemical-technical assistant (CTA)/chemical laboratory assistant (m/f/d) for sample preparation (food, consumer goods, environment)
Contaminants Department | Permanent | Full-Time/Part-Time
Tasks – This is your job:
- Careful and timely preparation of samples according to standard operating procedures
- Preparation of mixed samples
- Calibration of scales and pipettes
- Operating laboratory equipment (rotary evaporator, centrifuge, SPE)
- Data acquisition with the laboratory information system
- Support in method development and method optimisation
- Preparation of calibration and standard solutions
Background – What you can bring to the table
- Successfully completed vocational training as a CTA (m/f/d) / chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d) or comparable vocational training
- Initial experience of working with trace substances
- Good numeracy skills
- Confident PC handling
- Clean, efficient and conscientious way of working
- Quick comprehension and organisational skills round off your profile
