Nitrosamines are chemical compounds containing nitroso groups. They are mainly formed by the reaction of nitrites with secondary amines, particularly under acidic conditions. These compounds are of particular interest because many of them are classified as carcinogenic.

Therefore, food products containing refined ingredients such as cured meats, smoked fish, beer and other beverages, dairy products, pickled vegetables and fruit, soy sauces and various oils are at high risk of potential nitrosamine contamination. Precise detection of extremely low concentrations

Using our in-house GC-MS/MS method, we can identify extremely low concentrations of just 0.1 µg/kg – a level far below what many other suppliers can offer.
